The first time that I stepped into an airport for international flights , I was conscious that just for the fact that I born in my beautiful country that unfortunately has a drug behavior I was to be judged and marked. This situation hasn’t change to much through the years. But what surprise me more is that all this Narco Boom on Tv series continuously projected that mark into all of us that we have nothing to do with drugs or any consumption.

Let me tell you something: the first time that I came to a Yacht Industry during my first charter the chief stewardess was looking into my personal belonging to see if I had bring a kilo or less of cocaine because the captain send her to check me because guess what he said: “She’s Colombian”. I was in shock… because I came into that Vessel to work not for bring drugs.

I’m really tired to be judged just for my nationality, becasue yes some other people and colombian do that BUT NOT ME.
And is incredible how people is still judging me for that.

Just because I’m colombian.In fact, beacuse I’m latin, in fact stop judge people beacuse you don’t know the inner battle of each person.

In both industries: the entertainment ( the one that I used to work before) and this one (Yachting) are vulnerables for that; and yes, I have seen so many people destroy themselves with all kind of stuff from backstage that I really know how deep can be . But guess what, is upon character that you accept or not. I know how that sh*t destroy people and I’m far away to want destroy myself in that or any way. I love life.
So… for you that’s reading this maybe you know me maybe not STOP judging and please we have so much more as a country.
