Let your hips tell the story your heart feels.

After two years of missing a rehearsal, to be in front of a mirror full of dancers, each of one looking to get certificate or some teachers already, I was feeling very very out of place that morning. I had no rehearsal clothes because just two days before I moved to Ibague (a city that is called " Musical Capital of Colombia") so I ended up showing in front of the first girls with a Hip/hop pants and a shirt....when you are supposed to have the nicest scarf or a beautiful dress.
Thanks God , one of the girls brought all her stand for sale ... I got enough clothes for the entire weekend....
Yamil, the Argentinian Master, is such a beautiful person. With the kindest instructions I've ever received, he made me feel comfortable in my own skin again. I know I'm overweight—everyone at work has been reminding me all summer—but they have no idea what I've been going through emotionally. And then there's Lisseth, the amazing organizer angel, too. Partners in crime few assistants could tell.
The girls backstage for their performance were super receptive. Like, I was just doing my hair and makeup, not even performing—just there to enjoy the show—and they were so respectful. I believe in vibes, and this kind of scenario could never have happened a decade ago with the people I used to hang out with. Thank God for this growth and for making all the right decisions. I definitely need to dance more often, it's true...as a practice.....
But that feeling was indescribable... my heart was full of joy, and my legs and whole body were vibrating with the music. It was a feeling I had almost forgotten.
